The chalet at Homestead in Lyme Regis was absolutely charming! The cozy living room with a seating area and dining area made me feel right at home. I loved having a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, and dishwasher in the chalet. It was so convenient for preparing meals during my stay. The two bedrooms in the chalet were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. It was a nice touch to have a DVD player in the chalet. I enjoyed unwinding in the evenings with a movie.
Personally, I wasn't too impressed with the TV in the chalet. But hey, everyone's preferences are different, so others might still enjoy it.

Mind-blowingly cozy and perfectly located place, with jaw-droppingly beautiful decor. Super accommodating host, free parking, and a fully equipped kitchen with an electric kettle. The nearby hiking, canoeing, and fishing spots were a bonus, and the beach access was absolutely stunning. Plus, the property had board games and cots available, making it ideal for families or friends. The attention to detail, like the thoughtful items left in the fridge and the Christmas tree, made it feel like a truly homey experience. And the peaceful sound of the weir and crickets added the perfect touch to our stay. Highly recommend!

The chalet was cozy and charming, making us feel right at home. We loved having a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, and dishwasher. Cooking was a breeze! The living room had a comfortable seating area where we could relax and unwind after a long day. The dining area was perfect for family meals and game nights. The two bedrooms provided plenty of space for our family of four. Having a bathroom with a shower and a bath was a bonus, especially with our little ones. We enjoyed watching movies with the DVD player in the chalet. The bed linen provided was clean and comfortable. It was great to have towels supplied for our stay. The TV in the chalet kept us entertained during our downtime.
Personally, we found that the TV could have been a bit bigger for better viewing.

Absolutely loved my stay at this charming property! The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, making me feel like I was right by the sea. The kitchen and lounge were massive, and I especially enjoyed the conservatory overlooking the little stream. The owner and her staff were very thoughtful and left useful things for us throughout the property. The location was perfect, with all the fun by the sea just a short walk away. a fantastic place for families or friends, and the sound of the weir was simply fantastic!
The only minor issue I encountered was the parking, which was a bit tricky. It would have been helpful if the hedges could be trimmed back a little to make it easier.

Our stay at the Homestead was incredible. The value for money was exceptional, with a cozy and beautifully decorated room that made us feel like we were by the sea. The location was perfect, just a short walk along the river to the town center. They had also stocked the fridge with some lovely surprises and provided proper coffee and a cozy fire setup with logs and kindling.
The only thing that could have improved our stay was if there were more breakfast options available.
